Unalienable Rights of Digital SoulesThis is a featured page

As we develop our Digital Person, our Digital "Avatar" Soule, we will need to both define and restrain to some extent the Unalienable/Natural Rights we wish as society to operate under.

This must be done for our Selves, and fellow Soules playing with us; anarchy is self-defeating to our purpose of achieving a sustainable future where humans have developed the capacity to respect and honor life.

Please create Threads here suggesting what "Rights" you think a Digital Soule (your Account permissions and our community ethics) should include.

Examples include:
1)Right to Information: but how much, at what expense of privacy?
2)Right to Self expression: to what extent, what is self-defeating expression such as libel, or hate speech and how does our society wish to address violates. In the FDU the Users account is "Redeemed and Recycled" - they start over with no marks against them, it is a Do-over. They will learn that dis-honoring in the Digital world (where there is a record of everything and anyone can address everyone) that they gain nothing.
3) Right to Community:
4) Right to remedy of conflicts, Due Procees.

We will learn that by playing in honor with agreed upon rules and ethics for our digital community, that everyone can be served, without fraud.

Be creative, this is your Free Digital Universe to co-create and make the rules of; where we are all Stewards, self-responsible, Sovereign Digital Avatars.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An avatar (abbreviations include av ,and avi and "avvie") is a computer user's representation of himself or herself, whether in the form of a three-dimensional model used in computer games,[1] a two-dimensional icon (picture) used on Internet forums and other communities,[2][3] or a text construct found on early systems such as MUDs. It is an “object” representing the embodiment of the user. The term "avatar" can also refer to the personality connected with the screen name, or handle, of an Internet user.[4]

Origin
In English, the word has come to mean "an embodiment, a bodily manifestation of the Divine." However, the Sanskrit word Avatara means "the descent of God" or simply "incarnation."

In this regard, Avatar is additionally defined as:

1) An embodiment, as of a quality or concept; an archetype
2) A temporary manifestation or aspect of a continuing entity

At what point does self-expression need to be moderated, what should be the societal boundaries we create so that those joining us in the future can "cantract and agree" to act in honor; and we be available to provide such a place.

So, where does pornographic material become regulated, what definition should we use, or should anything go?

How about hate talk, and negative non-sense? should we regulate it or let it sit? What do you Think?
Do you find this valuable?
